Dr. Schutz Secura Mat Hard Sealer 5L is a high-performance, metal cross-linked polymer dispersion designed as a protective coating for resilient floors such as vinyl and linoleum. The 5 L can provides an even, matt, hard-wearing film that enhances both durability and slip resistance.

Recommended use
This hard floor sealer is used to improve wear, scratch and slip resistance on vinyl, linoleum and rubber floors. It is particularly effective for sports facilities, leisure centres and other spaces that demand durable, safe surfaces, in line with standard E DIN 51 131. It is also highly effective at protecting floors from scratches caused by sand and grit.
Conventional sealing
- Shake Secura Mat Hard Sealer well before use.
- Apply an even, thin, undiluted coat lengthways to the surface of the cleaned floor (after installation or stripped) using a microfibre roller, pad or mop.
- Allow to dry for approximately 1 hour, to ensure the film is firm to walk on.
- Repeat the procedure in the crossways direction.
- Allow the film to dry for at least 12 hours before the floor is walked on, ideally overnight.
